Kidooy

Business Objective: The goal of this project was to build a streamlined, user-friendly e-commerce platform for Kidooy, specializing in baby and children’s products (strollers, care sets, toys, etc.). The aim was to make product discovery, selection, and checkout as effortless as possible for parents, while enabling the business to scale easily as demand and catalog grow.

Approach:

We began by conducting stakeholder interviews and analyzing competitor sites in the baby & children’s goods space to understand pain points (e.g. choosing the right stroller model, comparing toy materials, age-appropriate care sets). Using these insights, we designed a minimal, effective store structure that emphasizes clear product categories, age-based filtering, and a smooth cart & checkout experience.

We implemented a clean, responsive design and built a robust backend to support inventory control, future expansion, and a seamless user experience.

  3. Shopping Cart: Users can add items across categories, adjust quantities, and proceed to purchase with minimal friction.

  4. Age-Based & Use-Case Navigation: Ability to filter or browse by age group (e.g. newborn, toddler), or by product use (e.g. travel stroller, play toy).

  5. User-Friendly Interface: A clean, intuitive layout designed to reduce cognitive load for busy parents and make navigation easy.

  6. Scalable Architecture: Designed to support future enhancements — for example, subscription plans for baby care sets, seasonal toy bundles, or promotional campaigns.

Results

The site launched successfully and improved visibility for Kidooy’s product lines. Parents found the site easier to navigate, compare products, and make purchases. The platform now provides a strong foundation to expand offerings and scale operations in the highly competitive children’s e-commerce market.

Conclusion

Developing the Kidooy platform required deep insight into how parents search, compare, and buy baby and children’s products. Through stakeholder research, UX-driven design, and scalable development, the team delivered an intuitive, flexible platform that simplifies product discovery and checkout. The final solution enhances user experience and positions Kidooy for sustained growth in the baby & kids domain.
